CONTROL is a comprehensive Integrated Business System that provides
complete operational and management control over all facets of retail
and wholesale operations - from sales processing and inventory control
through to accounting and financial management.
CONTROL is very feature rich and highly configurable, thereby allowing
for completely tailored implementations without the need for programming.
In addition, Creative Computing has developed the entire system and we
can customise the system to meet your specific and changing needs.
CONTROL modules may be fully integrated. Integration means that information
need only be entered once. For example, entry of the receipt of stock
will update stock holding and reduce On Order quantities. Changes in stock numbers and promotional pricing may also be directly reflected in the Website Shopping module. It could also
update associated customer orders, creditor balances and the general ledger.
In addition the sales module will immediately "know" that new
stock has been received.
CONTROL can be implemented in stages, thereby avoiding the computerisation
"crunch" of putting all staff and data onto a new system at
once.
Only the required components need to be installed in each individual
site. For example, Point of Sale and Cash Balancing may be installed
in each retail outlet while other components including the full accounting
system is installed only at the corporate office.
Stores can operate on-line to a central server or they can operate stand-alone
and a polling module used to automatically transmit data between stores
and a central location.
CONTROL has been designed from the ground up to allow for multiple users
to simultaneously access the same data as well as providing for the centralised
management of multiple stores and other stock keeping locations.
CONTROL includes consolidated sales and profitability reports, and allows
the inventory holding in each store to be reviewed as part of the total
holding. From this review, decisions may be made to transfer stock, change
prices, set up promotions or implement some other merchandising action.
